Glycated albumin (GA) has been previously introduced as a promising biomarker for glycemic monitoring in diabetes patients with thalassemia. In this study, label-free graphene oxide (GO)-modified aptasensor was developed the rapid detection of GA. The fabrication dependent on covalent interaction amine-functionalized GA-specific aptamer carboxylic groups GO. Square wave voltammetry (SWV) analysis carried out measurement GA-aptamer binding to their specific proteins. peak current changes before and after incubation GA protein were directly proportional concentration. exhibited broad linearity (1–10,000 µg mL−1), low limit (LOD) 0.031 mL−1, high selectivity detection. addition, successfully applied detect both spiked clinical serum samples. comparison method commercial assay validated reliability application.
